The journeys you make every day should be safe, easy and able to support both your working and social life.

This is why the Queenstown Lakes District Council, the New Zealand Transport Agency and Otago Regional Council are committed to working together to provide you with an enduring, affordable, safe transport system, which also provides you with transport choice.

Our partnership is known as Wakatipu Way to Go and recognises that all three agencies have an important role to play in driving change. We also know there is a lot to think about and this document is designed to bring our work together in one place, so that you can see what we are up to and participate.

Your feedback is essential to the right decisions being made, so please familiarise yourself with the information here and make time to complete the survey.

Planning an effective network requires insights and ideas from the people who use it every day. Whether you’re a cyclist, a pedestrian, motorist or public transport user, you’ll have slightly different perspectives. Everything you tell us will have value and together we can build a network for the future that we will be proud of.

• Use the places app below to tell us about what facilities you'd like to see and where on our proposed trail network, and where jetties should be located to service a public ferry.
