Why has the name changed to Creativity and Culture Strategy from Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy used in the early community engagement?
The choice to rename was to better reflect how these sectors are interwoven together joined by creativity as opposed to being standalone and unconnected sectors.
The Heritage Strategy 2010 has a number of actions that still need to be addressed. Have these been considered in the Creativity and Culture Strategy?
The Heritage Strategy 2010 is the basis for many of the foundations, pillars, and actions in the draft Creativity and Culture Strategy. The draft Creativity and Culture Strategy has heritage related actions interwoven across all pillars of the strategy and once finalised and endorsed by Council will replace the Heritage Strategy 2010.
