Ten Year Plan 2021-31
Consultation has concluded.
Submissions on the draft Ten Year Plan 2021-2031 are now closed.
Every three years the Council must adopt a Ten Year Plan which is the blueprint for investment in the district's infrastructure and services over the next ten years.
The Ten Year Plan 2021-2031 is the big picture of where we’re heading as a district and how we’ll get there. It proposes an ambitious capital investment programme and covers all of the services Council provides and the projects we propose to either deliver or begin within the next ten years.
Your thoughts will help shape our district, now and for generations to come – so get involved!
You'll also find information on proposed amendments to QLDC's Policy on Development Contributions and Community Grants below.

Proposed Amendments to QLDC's Policy on Development Contributions:
Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) will begin consultation on amendments to the Policy on Development Contributions for 2021-2022 as part of the draft Ten Year Plan 2021-2031 submission process. A Statement of Proposal will be made available online and in Council offices and libraries. Submissions can be made online as part of your draft Ten Year Plan 2021-2031 submission, or via email and by post. Submissions closed at 5.00pm on Monday 19 April 2021.
Community Grants:
Starting this year, anyone applying for a community grant must do so through the draft Ten Year Plan 2021-2031 submission process. We are asking you to follow this process even if you normally receive an annual grant or rent costs. This is not because your funding is necessarily at risk, but we're keen to ensure that community grants are awarded in a structured way.
