Housing
over 5 years agoWhat do you think this Housing Strategy should include? What should QLDC’s role be?
The Council is developing a Housing Strategy together with the community, local stakeholders, businesses and the central government. We’re keen to capture any good ideas, innovations and international examples. For instance:
- partnering with Government to deliver more homes
- targeted rates
- increased densities
- incentives
- requiring land/cash contributions to be used for the development of affordable housing

0 comment0cherieover 5 years agoOur town. Yes, our town because we live here. It is our place rather than a place for those who stay only a night or two. Community first.
With all the beautification of our town more and more car parks have been taken away. We require access for the elderly and families attempting to visit the lake, shops in pedestrian-friendly areas or the dinosaur park.

How many car parks will be removed . We need a central parking building if parks removed
