The inaugural Community Insights Survey is underway. Find out about the survey and how to take part.
About the Community Insights Survey
To give community trust and satisfaction the focus they deserve, we’ve appointed an independent research company to carry out our inaugural Community Insights Survey.
The aim of the survey is to understand the level of trust residents have in Council processes and decision making, and their level of satisfaction with Council facilities and overall performance.
Some of the questions regarding satisfaction with Council will be familiar to those of you who have completed the Quality of Life survey in previous years. However, there will be more targeted questions specifically aimed at measuring trust in Council in a much more useful manner.
The survey will be conducted in two parts. Residents randomly selected to take part will have received invites by mail or post beginning Monday 24 February, while all residents aged 18 and over will be able to participate through a link on this page from Monday 10 March.
This approach ensures that results accurately reflect community sentiment and the demographics of participants are reflective of the district’s demographics. This will help ensure we can turn the results into meaningful improvements.
The survey is being conducted by Key Research on behalf of Queenstown Lakes District Council.
