Thanks to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts on what they love about the Peter Fraser Park Playground. This survey closed on 12 April 2026.
Your feedback on the Peter Fraser Park playground will help our landscape architects create designs for the area. Once we’ve finished the concepts, we’ll present them to the Lake Hāwea community to make sure we’re on the right track. They'll also be made available on our Council projects webpage at www.qldc.govt.nz/council-projects
Help shape the future of Peter Fraser Park Playground!
We're working on a plan to renew the Peter Fraser Park Playground to create a fun, safe, and accessible play space for all.
Before design work begins, we asked the local community and park users about what they value in Peter Fraser Park and what they would like to see in a future playground.
Community feedback will help guide the design by sharing the types of play experiences, equipment, and features that matter most to local families, residents and visitors. We'll be working to a budget so the play elements included in the final design will be determined based on feedback and what works best within the reserve space.
