Our Roadmap
Consultation has concluded.
Our Roadmap details all the consultations and projects we've got in the pipeline for 2020. Many of these will be formal consultation processes where we'll be asking for submissions, others are projects or developments we'd just love to hear your feedback on or want your early input into to help us shape strategies, plans and more. It's a living roadmap so we'll be updating it regularly and aiming to provide a new version each month.
In addition to sharing this with you we'd value hearing your ideas for projects that you think are important for Council to be considering for the district's future. So if you have a suggestion that you'd like to see included then make sure you submit it below.

If there are any big projects that Council would be responsible for that you think we're missing from Our Roadmap, then please suggest it here. We can’t guarantee to include them as projects often rely on many different considerations and criteria, but we’d love to hear what you think is important. Also, if you see another suggestion from someone else that you like, vote for it! We’ll review them regularly and provide feedback to the relevant teams within QLDC.

Regarding recent consultation about road speeds: Frankton Road to be all 50km. It’s a hazard to pedestrians.
Also add pedestrian crossings to all existing crossings areas. Drivers pay no attention to people currently trying to cross the road. PDS will prioritise pedestrians. Also marina drive intersection needs a round about. Currently drivers exits the marina left, indicate into z service station and do a u turn. Needs fixing and marina will now get busier and have more vehicles with boats which will be unable to turn right.
