Consultation has concluded
We’re working with Otago Regional Council to make minor improvements to support existing and future bus routes in the Wakatipu Basin.
As part of this, we’re proposing three locations for new bus stops at Hanley’s Farm.
Why are new bus stops proposed?
Currently there is no bus stop infrastructure at Hanley's Farm. Installing new bus stops will improve access to public transport, making it safer and more convenient for people to choose to take the bus.
The proposed work will occur within existing road reserve and will include:
- Three new bus stops
- Widened footpaths near the bus stops to ensure safe access
- Signage and line marking to ensure the bus can enter and exit the stops safely
